Meet Celeste Clark
March 24, 2021
I am an artist, mama, wife, vintage enthusiast and botanical book collector. I specialize in custom paintings and floral watercolors - always endlessly creating and evolving!
Q: Congratulations on your new babe! She is darling. How has the transition from 1-2 been? Tell us about her!
A: Thank you, thank you! We feel so complete. The transition has been much easier than I anticipated, I give full credit to my almost three year old and his immediate love and acceptance of her, and my sweet husband’s support (as well as my angel parents who have helped cook meals for us). We are still getting into the swing of things, but so far, so great & so sleepy :)

Q: Your creativity is out of this world. Do you feel that your artwork has an impact on your children and how they view the world?
A: That means so much to me. I paint whatever comes deep from my heart (often comes to me late at night) and it’s often very spiritual. Wilde is always so interested to know what I’m up to next, so naturally I can only hope he will always find interest in what I’m creating and why I’m doing it and apply those meanings in his heart. (And baby sis, of course!)

Q: You recently painted a beautiful, cozy piece titled "Homestead." Tell us a little bit about your inspiration for the painting and what this piece means to you.
A: That painting has an infinite amount of meaning to me! When I found out we were having a daughter, I knew I wanted to paint something for her while I was pregnant to bring me back to this special time. Raising a toddler and a baby while being a full-time business owner - it’s an understatement when they say mom’s wear many hats! I wanted to create something that was genuine to my own experiences but relate with others who are also juggling those hats. I see myself painting at my easel late at night for the years to come not only because it’s my job, but it’s my true passion. That will never change!

Q: During this last year, we've all spent more time at home. What's your favorite way to spend a cozy day in with your little ones?
A: We are naturally big homebodies and we live on a bit of land out in the country, so we are lucky to have grassy fields and quiet roads for our busy toddler to roam and dig and run. One thing I know I will look back and be fond of are the long sunny days where I draw all the blinds and watch my little boy digging in the backyard while I watch through the windows and finish the dishes. We are big outdoorsy people, so anything related to being outside all day, we love it!
